Our Projects
Bridging Cycles

We are dedicated to advancing menstrual health and well-being for immigrant and newcomer women in Toronto. We support menstrual hygiene with educational mentorship, working in collaboration with shelters and community organizations to ensure accessibility, cultural relevance, and dignity in care.
Program Components
-
Sanitary Pad Distribution
Regular distribution of menstrual hygiene products delivered directly to partner shelters and community centers to meet immediate needs.
-
Mentorship & Educational Workshops
Culturally responsive sessions that cover menstrual health, sexual and reproductive education, and awareness of menstrual-related conditions such as endometriosis.
Bridging Cycles creates supportive spaces where women can access essential resources, engage in open dialogue, and build confidence in managing their health.
Youth Mentorship & Support

Our Youth Mentorship Program addresses the unique challenges faced by adolescent girls and young women from rural, low-income, and vulnerable communities. Through interactive mentorship sessions and the distribution of dignity kits, the program empowers participants with the tools to care for their bodies, process trauma, and make informed decisions about their futures.
Program Components
-
Dignity Kits: Distribution of sanitary pads and menstrual hygiene supplies to ensure dignity and comfort during menstruation.
-
Mentorship Sessions: Culturally responsive, age-appropriate discussions covering topics such as: menstrual and sexual health, self-esteem, body image, consent, and healing from trauma
-
Shelter Outreach: Delivery of hygiene supplies, food assistance, and psychosocial mentorship to shelters such as Rebirth of a Queen Center, where young survivors of GBV receive trauma-informed guidance and practical support.
We have distributed 200+ Dignity Kits in rural communities across Kenya.
Regular mentorship sessions engaging 20–40 girls per group.
Translation For Dignity

Translation for Dignity is a Rafiki Bridge initiative designed to break language barriers in menstrual and reproductive health education. Many women and girls lack access to accurate information simply because it's only available in English—creating confusion, misinformation, and silence around critical health topics.
This project translates essential health education materials into multiple local languages, helping women and girls better understand:
-
Menstrual health and hygiene
-
Sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR), including consent and contraception
-
Fertility awareness and reproductive health red flags and conditions like endometriosis—what it is, signs to look out for, and when to seek help
By providing this information in the languages women are most comfortable with, and with cultural sensitivity in mind—Translation for Dignity empowers them to make informed, confident decisions about their bodies and well-being.
